For friendship and engagement, building community one book at a time. Research has shown that reading literary fiction develops emotional intelligence and empathy. Become a better human being - read a novel today! Library book discussion groups are one of the finest ways for a new comer to a community to begin to make social contacts. No swiping right required.
Stories, songs, movement, crafts and friends. Ages birth to preschool. Lifelong friendships have been forged in storytimes, while research shows that the more children are read to, the better they acquire language and literacy skills, and the better they do in every aspect of their lives, throughout their lives - jobs, careers, relationship. |Lego Club / Monday Make-it Club
Creativity, engineering and problem solving has never been so much fun. Mostly Lego bricks, but other projects, other media may be offered, every Monday (during school year) 2-4 pm. All ages welcome, but geared towards the 6-18 year old after school crowd.

|Library Advisory Board Vacancy
A vacancy exists on the Aztec Public Library Advisory Board for One (1) member of the business industry who owns or operates a service business Aztec Library Advisory Board is constituted according to City of Aztec ordinances, as set out in Section 2, Article 5. The Library Advisory Board currently meets 6 times a year, at 5:30 pm on the second Wednesday of every second month, beginning January. Interested candidates should direct a letter of interest to Karla Sayler, City Clerk, 201 W Chaco, Aztec, NM, 87410. Letters of interest need to be received by February 28th, 2018.

Just when you wondered if it was possible, having a library card just got even better! With your library card you can check out a FamilyPass which gives FREE admission to 15 museums and historical sites across the state of New Mexico. The FamilyPass checks out just like any library item. Borrower must be 18 or over and have a library card in good standing. FamilyPass checks out for seven day and each pass give access for up to six family members to the following sites:
